why is speech required for comfort?
why does silence have to be "awkward"
i mean it's not to everyone, but in the grand scheme of things it generally is.
do we need to verbally communicate in order to feel "connected" to another human?
people always pinpoint others as being outgoing and comfortable in their own skin judging solely on how much they talk...
i hoowever precieve these people to be the insecure ones. always needing to reassure their own presence and value in a social setting
when you can lay side by side with somone, no words, no physical contact, it is quite a beautiful thing.
that is true comfort.
